About Us
We are a mother and daughter team hand making beautiful 100% soy candles and other products in Nelson, NZ
Millie Moo Candles all started in December 2016 while Sam was on maternity leave with her daughter Millie (𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑒: 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑒 𝑀𝑜𝑜). She wanted to start a small side business from home, and as she loved making candles for her friends and family, she decided to give it a go as a small business.
During that first year, Sam was overwhelmed by the positive response to Millie Moo Candles. She introduced new products and scents, and then towards the end of 2017, her mum (Michelle) bought into the business so Millie Moo Candles could continue to grow.
And so here we are! We have stockists throughout New Zealand, a huge range of products, and more exciting things coming. Thank you for supporting our small New Zealand business - we wouldn't be here without you!

Popped into the chemist for a prescription. The display was set up centre store which caught my eye. Simple elegant design that looks super cute hanging in the car. I opted for strawberry & champagne, absolutely love the smell.
Today I received my first Aroma Stone and I'm delighted with it. It's perfumed the bathroom with the Black Raspberry Sugar Aroma (that I chose) and it's an attractive hanging ornament too.
No doubt I need to order a few more, will be lovely for linen cupboard & wardrobes.
Currently have the Strawberry and Champagne diffuser in use and am extremely impressed by both the strong scent and longevity of the liquid. Definitely purchase again.
These are amazing candles! Love the scents on offer but can't go past Champagne and Strawberries and French Vanilla. Friends and family often comment on the lovely smells when they walk into the room/house. I can't buy any other candles/diffusers now.
